Time Banks usually operate on the principle of people offering services to each other and “banking” the time they have given, which they can then use to “buy” services from others. However, in Downham members decided that people should be able to use the Time Bank without having credit in the Time Bank or offering services themselves. Members also decided that we would include the names of the people offering the services on the list (with their permission).
So remember-you don’t need be a member or make any offers of services in order to use the Time Bank.
